Prayer:- Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act,

1971 to punish the Contemnors/Respondents for willfully disobeying

and not complying with the order of this Court dated 15.02.2021 in

W.P.(MD) No.2757 of 2021.

Prayer in WP(MD). 2757 of 2021 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the

Constitution of India, praying this Court S-12. To issue a writ of

Mandamus or any other writ or order or direction in the nature of

writ and consequently direct the respondents to disburse interest at

the rate of 6 percentage for retirement benefits Gratuity, Provident

Fund, Leave Salary and Commutation and pass such further or other

orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the

nature and circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

O R D E R

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 1st

respondent-Transport Corporation made a submission that pursuant to

the orders of this Court dated 15.02.2021 in W.P.(MD) No.2757 of

2021, 80% of the amount due to the petitioner was settled. The

balance due amount will be settled within a period of six weeks.

2. In view of the said submission made by the learned

Standing Counsel, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
