Introduction
[1] This dispute between the Plaintiff ("P") and the Defendant ("D") relates to the Last Will and Testament of Ooi Swee Poh ("Deceased") dated 3 January 2017 ("Will"). After a full trial, I allowed P's claim. I dismissed D's counterclaim. Here are the grounds of my judgment.

Background Facts
[3] The Deceased passed away on 24 November 2018. He was first diagnosed with colon cancer sometime in the year 2014 but recovered from the illness, requiring no further treatment. Sometime in October 2018, it was discovered that his cancer had relapsed. He eventually succumbed to the cancer.
