JUDGMENT

There are two applications this morning, (encl. 14 & encl. 24); the former is the 3rd defendant's application for stay of all proceedings until the suit No. 22-234-99-III/II (the first suit) be disposed off, and the latter is the plaintiff's application to consolidate the two suits No. 22-234-99-III/II and No. 22-248-99 (the second suit).
Facts
The plaintiff's Suit no. 22-248-99-II dated on 1 December 1998 against 10 defendants (includes James Ling-the 3rd defendant). James Ling holds a Margin Account no. 881888 with the plaintiff. The 1st defendant is an employee of the plaintiff and the 2nd defendant is a remisier of the 3rd defendant. The 4th to 10th defendants have each a trading account with the plaintiff, and there are transactions between each of the defendants and the 3rd defendant. The 11th defendant has taken full responsibility for all the amount due under the trading account of the 6th defendant (the wife).
In this action, the 3rd defendant had served on the plaintiff his defence, to which the plaintiff had filed its reply thereto. As such, prayer (b) in the 3rd defendant's application is academic, and the only issue for the determinat
