judgement
Subject : - Pension and Retirement Benefits
In this writ petition, the petitioner sought relief from the court to grant them family pension effective from September 6, 2007, and to direct the respondents to transfer the Disburser's Portion of the Pension Payment Orders and expedite the decision on the petitioner's request.
The petitioner filed the writ petition seeking the aforementioned reliefs. However, during the court proceedings, the petitioner was not represented by any counsel, and the court did not receive any arguments from the petitioner's side.
The court noted that since the petitioner was not represented, the appropriate course of action would be for the petitioner to agitate their grievances before the Central Administrative Tribunal, as per the submission made by the learned Government Pleader.
The court, with the above observations, disposed of the writ petition. The court stated that if the petitioner has any surviving grievances, they are free to agitate the same before the appropriate authority, which in this case would be the Central Administrative Tribunal.
