This appeal is directed against the order dated 04-07-2005 in W.C.No.237 of 2004, on the file of the Commissioner for Workmen’s Compensation, Hyderabad, wherein the claim of the appellant was allowed-in-part, awarding compensation of Rs.1,61,677/- with a direction to the opposite parties to deposit the said amount within 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, failing which the appellant would be entitled for interest 9% p.a., from the date of filing of the claim application i.e., 04-12-2004.

The appellant herein filed claim application before the learned Commissioner seeking compensation of Rs.4 lakhs for the injuries sustained by him in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on 28-06-2004 in the course of his employment as driver of the auto trolley bearing No.AP 13 V 7632, which was involved in the accident.
