Feeling aggrieved by judgment dt.15.4.2011 in Sessions Case No.377 of 2010 on the file of the XI Additional Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court), Guntur, at Tenali, the accused therein filed this appeal. By the said judgment, the Court below has convicted the accused - appellants for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 302 read with Section 149 of Indian Penal Code, and sentenced them to suffer simple imprisonment for one year for the offence under Section 147 IPC; to suffer simple imprisonment for two years and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- each and in default of such payment, to suffer simple imprisonment for three months for the offence under Section 148 IPC; to suffer life imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs.2,500/- each and in default of such payment, to suffer simple imprisonment for one year for the offence under Section 302 IPC; and to suffer simple imprisonment for two years and also to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- each for the offence under Section 149 IPC and in default of such payment, to suffer simple imprisonment for three months.
