The wife has filed this appeal against the judgment and divorce decree dated 21.2.2015 made in M.C. No. 47/2013 on the file of the District Judge and Family Court, Kalaburagi, allowing the petition in part filed by the respondent-husband under Section 13 (1) (i-a) and (i-b) of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955, and dissolved the marriage between the appellant and respondent solemnized on 25.12.2005 at Millenium Garden, Tilakwadi, Belgaum, and the prayer of the husband for custody of the minor child was rejected.

The respondent-husband filed the petition under Sections 13 (i-a) and (i-b) of the Hindu Marriage Act against the appellant-wife for divorce contending that the marriage between the appellant and the respondent was arranged by the family elders and their marriage was solemnized as per Hindu rites and customs on 25.12.2005 at Millenium Garden, Tilakwadi, Belgaum. On the eve of marriage, the respondent's family had arranged for the appellant to get her bridal make-up done at a beauty parlour run by a relative of the respondent.
