No. 184/1972 on the file of the First Additional Judge, City Civil Court, hyderabad prefers this appeal against the judgment and decree in the said suit decreeing the respondent s claim in a sum of Rs. 23,968. 43 ps. with interest therein at 6% per annum from 14-3-1972 till the date of realisation with proportionate costs:

A cheque bearing No. G/2844399, dated 24-3. 1971 alleged to have been issued by the Honorary Treasurer of the Plaintiff-Sports-Council for a sum of Rs 23,968. 43 ps. was encashed on 25-3-71 and debited to the plaintiff s account.
