1. The present Original Appeal has been filed challenging the order dated 31st October, 2017 passed by the Joint Registrar in I.A. No. 6500/2016. By the said order, the Learned Joint Registrar has allowed impleadment of the subsequent purchasers of the property as Defendants No. 6 and 7, in a suit for specific performance filed by the Plaintiff.

The background of the present dispute is that the Plaintiff claims to have entered into an agreement to sell in respect of the basement (front and rear portion), ground floor and terrace, along with proportionate rights in the land in property bearing no. D-16, Greater Kailash Enclave-I, New Delhi (hereinafter, the ‘suit property’) with Defendants No. 1 and 2. On 30th April, 2014, Defendant No. 4 entered into an agreement to sell in respect of some part of the suit property, with Defendants No. 1 and 2. A suit came to be filed on 26th September, 2014 and was listed before this Court on 1st October, 2014. On 9th October, 2014 this Court had granted an interim order in the following terms:

“Issue notice to the defendants, for the date fixed.

Learned counsel for the plaintiff is pressing for an ex-
