1. Vide the present petition, the petitioners are seeking following reliefs:
"a.) quash the rejection slips dated 02.05.2023, 08.05.2023 and 06.05.2023 in respect of Mr. Subrata Barman/petitioner no.1 (Roll No.4415000419) and Mr. Sumit Kumar/petitioner no.2 (Roll No.2201004855) and Mr. Aniket Bharati/petitioner no.3 (Roll No.4205035924) respectively, issued by the respondents, whereby the candidatures of the petitioners were wrongly rejected being not qualified in the PST (Height) in the selection process for the post of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau, 2022as advertised by the respondents in 2022;
b.) to direct the respondents to conduct the re-measurement of height of the petitioners preferably in some Government/Army Hospital and if found qualified, allow them to participate the further selection process i.e. PET and Medical Examination & Verification of Documents for the post of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau, 2022."
