Sunil Kumar Garg, President - This appeal has been filed by the complainant appellant against order dated 29.1.2003 passed by the District Forum, Jhalawar in complaint No. 22/2002 by which the complaint of the appellant was dismissed.

2. It arises in the following circumstances

That the complainant appellant had filed a complaint before the District Forum on 16.5.2002 inter alia stating that the complainant had taken a LIC policy for the period 28.11.1998 to 28.11.2016 for a sum of Rs. 1 lac bearing policy No. 184170865 along with accidental benefit. It was further stated that on 11.7.2000 when he was travelling in a vehicle bearing No. RJ 17-1162 and when he was goind from Jaipur, his vehicle had met with an accident near Datari, under the Police Station, Dudu and information of that accident was lodged with the Police Station Dudu on 11.7.2000 bearing FIR No. 214/2000. It was further stated that due to that accident his left hand was amputed and a certificate by the medical board was given on 19.4.2001 in the manner that left hand of the complainant appellant was amputed and physical impairment of 75% was found.
