As the issues raised in both the captioned applications are the same and the prayer is also to quash the selfsame criminal proceedings, those were heard analogously and are being disposed of by this common judgment and order.
2. The Criminal Misc. Application No.17808 of 2015 has been filed by the brother-in-law of the respondent no.2, whereas the connected matter, i.e. the Criminal Misc. Application No.20207 of 2015 has been filed by the father-in-law and the mother-in-law respectively of the respondent no.2.

By these two applications under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the applicants original accused persons seek to invoke the inherent powers of this Court, praying for quashing of the proceedings of the Criminal Case No.3681 of 2015 pending in the Court of the learned JMFC (Municipal), Court No.23, Rajkot, arising from the First Information Report being ICR No.39 of 2015 registered with the Mahila Police Station, Rajkot, for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 323, 504 read with Section 114 of the Indian Penal Code.
4. The First Information Report lodged by the respondent no.2 reads as under :
