1. Heard the parties through Video Conferencing.
2. This appeal has been preferred by the appellant being aggrieved by the Judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 30.06.2020 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge Anti Corruption Bureau, Cyber Cases and Electricity Act, Dhanbad in Special (Vigilance) Case No. 14-08 whereby and where under, the learned court below has held the appellant-convict guilty for having committed the offences punishable under Section 7 and Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and sentenced him to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment for three years with fine of Rs. 50,000/- for the offence punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and in default of payment of fine to undergo Simple Imprisonment for three months and further sentenced the appellant-convict to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment for four years and fine of Rs. 1,00,000/- and in default of payment of fine to undergo Simple Imprisonment for six months for the offence punishable under Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and ordered that the sentences shall run concurrently.
