(Prayer:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely, Adal Padal scheduled to be held on 06.03.2023 at night 08.00 pm to 11.00 pm in connection with “Masi Festival” in Arulmigu Sri Maramadakki Ayyanar and Sri Karuppar Temple at Maramadakki Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner''s representation, dated 21.02.2023.)
1. The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely, Adal Padal scheduled to be held on 06.03.2023 at night 08.00 pm to 11.00 pm in connection with “Masi Festival” in Arulmigu Sri Maramadakki Ayyanar and Sri Karuppar Temple at Maramadakki Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner''s representation, dated 21.02.2023.
2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
