PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to use the Tamil Nadu State Symbol in any Welfare Schemes with work details contractor name alone and avoid other person or political party name in the work display board in any part of the State in future by considering my representation dated 28.02.2024 & 30.05.2024.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present Writ Petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court bundle.
2.Recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs.
A petitioner has the right to withdraw a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, leading to its dismissal without further examination.
A writ petition becomes infructuous when the underlying issue, such as a pending promotion proposal, is resolved or rejected.
