This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned refusal check slip dated 24.12.2024 issued by the second respondent, thereby refused to register the settlement deed, which was executed by the petitioner in favour of her husband, on the ground that the petitioner failed to produce the original parent document in respect of the property

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. The petitioner owned the subject property and intended to settle the same in favour of his daughter. After execution of the settlement deed, it was presented for registration before the respondent. However, the respondent refused to register the same on the ground that the petitioner failed to produce the parent deed in respect of the subject property comprised in Survey Nos.187/7 to an extent of 61.0 cents, 185/1 to an extent of 1 acre 28 cents, 187/3 to an extent of 70 cents, 187/2 to an extent of 72 cents, 185/2B to an extent of 1 acre 80 cents, 189/2A1 to an extent of 1 acre 21 cents, 190/5A to an ext
