Hon’ble V.K. Shukla, J.—In both these writ petitions, petitioners are questioning the validity of decision dated 8.8.2007 taken by Superintendent of Police, Fatehpur, dispensing with the services of petitioners on the ground that they did not fulfill the standard of medical fitness.
2. Brief facts, giving rise to instant writ petition, are that an advertisement was published on 6.2.2005. Pursuant to the same petitioners applied for consideration of their candidature and their recruitment was held at Police Lines, Fatehgarh. Thereafter physical and written examinations were held and interview took place, and they were finally selected. Medical examination was also conducted at Police Lines Fatehgarh. Petitioners were found medically fit and were offered appointment. Petitioners have contended that they joined their services and had been performing and discharging their duties. Director General of Police on 29.6.2007 has passed order for review of entire appointments made during the year 2004-2006 in P.A.C. and Civil Police.
