JUDGMENT

Hon’ble Anil Kumar Agarwal, J.—Heard Sri Anil Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.G.A.for the State of U.P. and Sri Pramod Kumar Rai, appearing on behalf of Union of India.

This writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner Raju Khan alias Tyagi with the following prayers :

(a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned orders dated 2.7.2012 and 21.8.2012 passed by respondent Nos. 1 and 2 respectively (Annexures 1 and 2 to the writ petition).

(b) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents not to give effect the impugned orders dated 2.7.2012 and 21.8.2012 passed by the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 respectively (Annexures 1 and 2 to the writ petition).

(c) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Habeas Corpus commanding the respondents to release the petitioner from illegal detention under the National Security Act and also made an arrangement to release the petitioner from District Jail Budaun.

(d) Issue any such other suitable writ order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case.

(e) Award costs
