Under this petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has challenged his transfer. The petitioner is a 'Conductor' working on daily wages with Madhya Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. The transfer is an incidence of service and an employee can claim no right to remain posted at a particular place. It is for the employer to see where the services of an employee are required most.
It is contended for the petitioner that the transfer in the instant case would affect his seniority. The petitioner is not even a regular employee, as such, there is no question of any gradation or seniority-list unless the petitioner is regularised in service.
