ORDER (ORAL)

The applicants in the present OA retired from service on

30th June/31st December of their respective year of superannuation and seek one annual increment due from 01st July/1st January, which has not been extended to the applicants only on the ground that they retired one day earlier. Being aggrieved, the applicants filed the present OA and prayed the following reliefs:-

“i) Call for the relevant file(s)/record(s) of the Respondent and peruse the same;

ii) issue directions to the Respondent(s) to grant one notional increment from 1st July of the respective years of the retirement to all the Applicants for the purpose of calculating their revised pensionary benefits. that consequently in case of all Applicants their pension and pensionary benefits comprising of DCRG, Leave Encashment and Commutation of Pension be revised based on such additional notional increment and they may be allowed/paid arrears thereof upto the
