ORDER
Per: SURESH KUMAR BATRA MEMBER (J):-
1. Since in the above captioned two Original Applications, the facts, relief claimed and the issue involved are similar, therefore, these were heard together and are being disposed of by a common order, with the consent of learned counsel for the parties.
2. The relief claimed in both the OAs is as under:-
i) To quash the order/memo dated 1.8.2017 whereby the respondent no.3 has decided to reduce the number of post for Class III & Class IV category against the actual requirement.
ii) To direct the respondents to regularize the services of the applicants by extending the benefits of The Punjab Adhoc, Contractual, Daily Wage, Temporary, Work Charged and Outsourced Employees Welfare Act 2016 (Annexure A-2), which, ipso facto, becomes applicable to the UT employees.
iii) For issuance of directions to the respondents not to put break in the appointment of the applicants on completion of session 2016-17 and not to replace the applicants by contractual appointees and to continue them in service till the posts are filled in on regular basis or till the need is there and to grant minimum of the scale/pay Bank with Grade Pay and D.A. as increased from ti
