The present two original applications were heard together and are being taken up for disposal by a common order, as was requested by learned counsel for the parties. For convenience, facts are taken from the case of Mandeep Singh Topwal & Ors. vs. Chandigarh Administration & Ors. (OA No. 193/2023).
2. Present Original application has been filed on 24.02.2023 by the applicants under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act , 1985, seeking the following reliefs:-
“(i) Quash Order dated 03.02.2023 (Annexure A-1), vide which the claim of applicants regarding lowering of their pay scales has been illegally and arbitrarily declined.
ii) Quash notification dated 06.01.2021 (Annexure A-2) read with Corrigendum dated 13.01.2021 (Annexure A-3), as it makes applicable letter dated 15.01.2015 issued by Pb. Govt as adopted by UT. Administration which already stood quashed by the Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court and to the extent new pay scales have been granted and replaced in advertisement for the posts of Clerks and Steno Typists.
