1. Since 5th February, 2025 was declared a Court holiday, the matters listed on 5th February, 2025 are being taken up today i.e. 6th February, 2025.
2. The present suit has been filed seeking relief of permanent injunction restraining the defendants from illegally and unauthorizedly disseminating and broadcasting the plaintiffs’ works/content through their rogue websites and mobile applications, along with other ancillary reliefs.

The plaintiff no.1 is an entertainment and media company that operates more than seventy (70) channels in over in eight languages, including channels such as Star World, Star Movies, Star Bharat, Movies Ok, Star Gold, Jalsha Movies, Star Sports I, Star Sports HOI, Star, Sports Select I, Star Sports Select HD 1, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 1 HD Hindi, Star Sports I Tamil, Maa Movies, Suvama Plus, etc. (hereinafter collectively referred to as "STAR Channels").
