The writ appeal is filed under Section 5 (i) of the Kerala High Court Act, 1958 , by the petitioner in W.P.(C) No.2385 of 2023. The writ petition was filed by the appellant under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:

“a) Issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction calling for the records leading to Ext.P4 and quash the same.

b) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the respondents to retain the petitioner as Accountant cum Data Entry Operator in Arattupuzha Grama Panchayat”.

2. As per the impugned judgment dated 06.03.2025 the learned Single Judge dismissed the writ petition. Being aggrieved, the appellant filed the above writ appeal.

3. The appellant was working as an Accountant cum Data Entry Operator on a contract basis at the 4th respondent Arattupuzha Grama Panchayat with effect from 06.04.2017, being appointed by Ext.P1 order dated 05.04.2017 under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.
