JUDGMENT
The writ petition is filed with the following prayers.
“i) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order, directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass final orders on Exhibit P2 joint application submitted by petitioners for transfer of Exhibit P1 permit from the name of the 1st petitioner in favour of the 2nd petitioner expeditiously by way of circulation under Rule 130 of the Kerala Motor Vehicles Rules or, at any rate within a time limit to be fixed by this Honble Court, in the interest of justice;
ii) To issue any other appropriate writ, direction or order which this Hon’ble Court deem fit in the circumstances of the case.
iii) To dispense with the filing of translation of vernacular document;”

Taking note of the fact that Ext.P2 joint application for transfer of the state carriage permit is pending consideration before the first respondent, there will be a direction to the said respondent to pass orders on the same, in accordance with law, either in the next RTA Board meeting or at any rate within t
