JUDGMENT

Dated this the 27th day of January, 2026 This appeal has been filed by the appellant under Section 14A of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act , 1989, seeking the following prayer:

“To allow this appeal and direct to enlarge the appellant on bail in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.814/2025 of Vellikulangara Police Station, Thrissur District.”

2. Even though there is no representation for the appellant, a memo seeking permission of this Court to withdraw this appeal has been filed.

3. In view of the above, this appeal is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to the Investigating Officer to proceed with the investigation and effect the arrest of the appellant, if the same is found necessary for proper investigation of the case.

Registry is directed to forward a copy of this judgment to the jurisdictional court, for information and future guidance.
