ORDER
This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (for short, BNSS ) seeking regular bail.
2. The applicants are the accused Nos.1 and 2 in Crime No.15/2026 of Adoor Excise, Pathanamthitta District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 55 (1), 56(b) and 57(a) of theKerala Abkari Act.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 13.01.2026, at about 11:30 AM, the applicants were found having stored 2 litres of spirit and 20 litres of toddy inside the toddy shop of the applicant No.1, in contravention of the stipulations in the license held by the applicant No.1 and thereby committed the above offences. The applicant No.2 is a temporary employee in the toddy shop.
4. I have heard Sri.Nanda Surendran, the learned counsel for the applicants and Sri.K.A.Noushad, the learned Senior Public Prosecutor. Perused the case diary.
