J U D G M E N T
This writ petition has been filed for a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to provide effective police protection to the petitioner for carrying out loading and unloading activities in warehouse bearing No.7/397A of Karumallur Panchayat by engaging its own workers holding valid registration in terms of the provisions contained in Rule 26 A of the Headload Workers Rules , 1981 (hereinafter referred to as 'the 1981 Rules'). According to the petitioner, respondents 4 and 5 are obstructing the work of loading and unloading being carried out by the petitioner through its own workers who hold valid registration under Rule 26 A of the 1981 Rules. This writ petition was admitted on 28-02-2024 and the following order was passed;
“The learned Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 to 3. Issue urgent notice by speed post to respondents 4 and 5. The learned Government Pleader to get instructions from respondents 1 to 3.
