ORDER
This Bail Application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (hereinafter referred to as “BNSS”).
2. The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.82/2026 of Kumbala Excise Range, registered for the offence punishable under Section 58 of theAbkari Act.
3. The prosecution allegation is that on 01.04.2026 at about 6.55 p.m., at Bandiyod Muttom gate in Shiriya village, the accused was found possessing and transporting 6.66 litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor, which was exclusively meant for sale in the State of Karnataka, in a vehicle bearing Registration No. KA-19-EF-9595, in violation of the provisions of the Abkari Act, thereby committed the aforesaid offence.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor and perused the records.
