ORDER

1. Despite repeated calls, none has appeared from the side of the applicant though the Registry had informed the applicant about today’s date of hearing through e-mail dated 30.07.2024.

2. In pursuance with our order dated 02.12.2023, passed in this matter (Letter Petition No.66 of 2023), respondent No.2 – GPCB has submitted its action taken report, which is annexed at pages 4 to 6 of the paper-book, relevant portion of which is as follows :

“(III) THE INSPECTION OF ABOVE MENTION UNIT WAS CARRIED OUT BY THE REGIONAL OFFICE, SURAT OF GUJARAT POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD AND AS PER THE INSPECTION REPORT DATED: 24/04/2024 OBSERVATION/ FACTUAL DETAILS ARE AS UNDER:

 During inspection production plant is observed in operation and Dyeing as well as Printing of Fabrics is going on.

 Source of water supply from own bore well. Generated industrial wastewater from mfg process is discharged into u/g effluent conveying system of CETP-GETPL (Gujarat Eco Textile Park Ltd) for further treatment and disposal after treatment through Oil & Grease Trap, Screen Bar and Collection cum equalization tank. Unit is having membership of CETP of Gujarat Eco Textile Park Ltd (GETPL) with booking load quantity
