ORAL JUDGMENT

Date : 13-11-2025 Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. The present appeal has been directed against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 21.07.2025 passed by learned District and Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Rohtas at Sasaram in Sessions Trial No. 189 of 2015, arising out of Nokha P.S. Case No. 98 of 2014 whereby and whereunder the appellant has been convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a and 26 of the Arms Act and has been sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for three years along with fine of Rs. 250/- under Section 25(1-b)a of the Arms Act and in case of default of payment of fine, appellant has to undergo further simple imprisonment of 15 days. The appellant has further been sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for three years and fine of Rs. 250/- under Section 26 of the Arms Act and in case of default of payment of fine, appellant has to undergo further simple imprisonment of 15 days.
