ORDER

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘ BNSS , 2023’) seeking quashment of the proceedings in Crime No.133 of 2025 of Chityal Police Station, Nalgonda District, against the petitioners.

2. The petitioners are arrayed as accused Nos.1 to 4 in Crime No. 133 of 2025 registered for the offences under Sections 5 ,6,9 and 10 read with Section 11 of the Telangana Prohibition of Cow Slaughter and Animal Preservation Amendment Act, 1977 read with Section 38 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 and Rules 47 to 56 of the Transport of Animals Rules, 1978 .

3. Heard Mr. Mohammed Moinuddin, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent No.1-State.
