The present application under Section 482
of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short “Cr.P.C.”) has been filed by the applicant seeking quashing of the chargesheet and the cognizance/summoning order dated 23.02.2016 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun in Criminal Case No. 743 of 2016, as well
as the entire proceedings of the said case.
2. Learned senior counsel for the applicant would submit that respondent no.3 had sold a piece of land measuring 0.09 acre of Khasra No. 658/1, situated at Village Kudkhawala, District Dehradun,
through a registered sale deed dated 15.06.1987 in favour of Smt. Manju Singh, wife of Gyanendra Pal Si
