J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is a retired Lower Division Clerk. He retired from the service of the first respondent on 31.3.2010. The complaint of the petitioner is that his Death Cum Retirement Gratuity ('DCRG' for short), commuted value of pension, arrears of dearness allowance both salary and pension as well as leave surrender are still not paid to him. The petitioner has a further case that though as per Ext.P5, the sanction of the fourth respondent has been sought for the purpose of giving him the benefit of terminal leave surrender for a period of 54 days, no orders have been passed thereon till date.

2. The learned Govt.Pleader submits that necessary sanction for disbursement of the terminal benefits of the petitioner have already been issued by the second respondent as early as on 29.7.2010. Sufficient funds have also been disbursed to the first respondent on 14.7.2011. Therefore, there is absolutely no reason for not disbursing the amounts due to the petitioner.

3. Since sanction has already been accorded for payment of the retirement benefits that are due to the petitioner and necessary funds have also been made available, there is no justification for delaying the disbur
