Petition herein is for issuance of a writ in the nature of

mandamus directing the respondents to declare the result of the petitioner for

the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) or in the alternate to disclose the actual

marks scored by him in the Examination.

Pursuant to order dated 24.08.2021, the result of the petitioner

has been received in a sealed cover, which has been opened during the Court

proceedings. The same reveals that he has secured an aggregate of 56 marks

(51 marks in the written examination + 05 marks towards socio-economic

criteria).

In the premise, it seems that being unaware of his actual result,

the petitioner was misled into filing the instant petition premised on an

understanding that he had obtained 53 marks in the written examination, and
