Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of

mandamus directing respondent No.2 to consider the candidature for the post

of Clerk under BC(A) category by awarding 5 marks towards socio economic

criteria.

Learned State counsel, at the outset, points out that the resultfor

the post of Clerk advertised vide advertisement No.5/2019, (AnnexureP-1)

impugned herein, has been quashed vide order dated 25.04.2022passed in

CWP No.15672-2021 titled as “Amit Kumar and others Vs. State of

Haryana and others” wherein it has been directed that theCommission shall

carry out re-evaluation of all the candidates across boardwho had participated

in the selection process and declare their result andprepare fresh merit list

after carrying out re-evaluation.
