JUDGMENT
Application
[1] This is the Plaintiff's Originating Summons seeking the following orders:
(i) a declaration that the Legal Fees Agreement dated 16 February 2017 entered between the Plaintiff and the 181 Defendant is valid and enforceable;
(ii) a declaration that the Guarantee dated 16 February 2017 made by the 2nd Defendant in favour of the Plaintiff valid and enforceable; and
(iii) an order that the 1st and the 2nd Defendants, jointly and severally, pay the Plaintiff:
(a) A sum of RM1,287,720.45;
(b) Interest at RM1,287,720.45 at the rate of 4% per annum from 12 November 2017 until full settlement; and
(c) Costs.
[2] Having considered the application and the submission of the parties, this court has allowed the application with costs.
The Salient Facts
[3] The Plaintiff is an advocate and solicitor, and practicing as a sole proprietorship under the name and style of Messrs Teng Kam Wah & Co ("Messrs TKW").
[4] The 1st Defendant is a company incorporated in Malaysia, whilst the 2"d Defendant is the managing Director and the majority shareholder of the 1st Defendant.
[5] The 2nd Defendant had appointed the Plaintiff as the solicitors for the 1st Defendant with regards to
