[2] They claimed trial to the charge at the conclusion of which they were found guilty as charged. The 1st and 2nd appellants were sentenced to death whilst the 3rd appellant was ordered to be detained at the pleasure of DYMM Sultan of Selangor pursuant to s 97(2)(b) of the Child Act 2001 (Act 611) as he was under-aged at the time of the offence. Their appeals to the Court of Appeal were dismissed, hence the present appeals before us.
