Introduction
[1] This is an action initiated by the plaintiffs against the defendant grounded on defamation.
[2] The 1st plaintiff was at the relevant time a board member of the Human Resources Development Fund ("HRDF") which is managed by the Human Resources Development Corporation which in turn is an agency under the purview of the Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia. The HRDF is governed by the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad Act 2001 .
