S.1 Short title, extent and commencement.-

       Short title, extent and commencement.-(1) This Act may be called the Bihar Excise (Amendment and Validating) Act, 1998.
       (2) It shall extends to the whole of Bihar.
       (3) It shall be deemed to come into force with effect from 1st June, 1995.

S.2 Insertions of new Sections (22-D to 22-F) after Section 22-C.-

lncorporated in the text of the Act.

S.3 Repeal and Savings.-

       (1) The Bihar Excise (Amending and Validating) Ordinance, 1998 (Bihar Ordinance No. 6,1998) is, hereby, repealed.
       (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken in exercise of any power conferred by, or under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken in exercise of the powers conferred by or under this Act as if this Act were inforce on the day on which such thing was done or action taken.
