Reg.1 Short title

Short title:- This Regulation may be called the Andhra Pradesh (Andhra Area) Local Boards (Amendment) Regulation, 1956.

Reg.2 Amendment of Section 56, Madras Act XIV of 1920

Amendment of Section 56, Madras Act XIV of 1920:- In sub-section (1) of Section 56 of the Madras Local Boards Act, 1920 (Madras Act XIV of 1920), as applied to the Scheduled Areas, for Clause (g), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:

(g) fails to attend three consecutive meetings of the local boards .
