An Act to amend the West Bengal Legislature (Removal of Disqualifications) Act, 1952. Whereas it is expedient to amend the West Bengal Legislature (Removal of Disqualifications) Act, 1952 (West Ben. Act VI of 1952), for the purpose and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Tenth Tear of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-

S.1 Short title

This Act may be called the West Bengal Legislature (Removal of Disqualifications) ( Amendment ) Act, 1959.

S.2 Amendment of section 2 of West Act VI of 1962

In clause (ii) of section 2 of the West Bengal Legislature (Removal of Disqualifications) Act, 1952 (LXII of 1952), after the words "under the West Bengal National Volunteer Force Act, 1949 (West Ben. Act I of 1949)", the following words "or in the Air Defence Reserve or the Auxiliary Air Force raised and maintained under the Reserve and Auxiliary Air Forces Act, 1952" shall be inserted.
