An Act further to amend the 24-Parganas District Board Dissolution (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1948. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the 24-Parganas District Board Dissolution (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1948 (West Bengal Act XXIII of 1948), for the purpose and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:--

S.1 Short title

This Act may be called the 24-Parganas District Board Dissolution (Temporary Provisions) (Second Amendment) Act, 1950.

S.2 Amendment of section 1 of West Bengal Act XXIII of 1948

In sub-section (3) of section 1 of the 24-Parganas District Board Dissolution (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1948, for the words and figures "15th day of December, 1950", the words and figures "31st day of December, 1951" shall be substituted.
