PREAMBLE

An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to land revenue, the powers of Revenue Officers, rights and liabilities of holders of land from the State Government, agricultural tenures and other matters relating to land and the liabilities incidental thereto in Chhattisgarh.

Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Tenth Year of the Republic of India as follows: -

1. ‘Chhattisgarh’ is substituted by Notification No. F-6-24/Revenue/2001 dated 23.11.2001 in place of ‘Madhya Pradesh’ wherever occurred (w.e.f. 1.11.2000).
