An Act Further to amend the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.

S.1 Short title

This Act may be called the Land Acquisition (Sikkim) Amendment Act, 1992.

S.2 Amendment of Section 4

In section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (hereinafter referred Central Act 1 to as the Principal Act), in sub-section (1), the word "daily" shall of 1894 be, omitted.

S.3 Amendment of Section 6

In section 6 of the Principal Act, in sub-section (2), the word "daily" shall be omitted.

S.4 Validation of notification and declaration pub-list before the commencement of this Act

Any notification published under sub-section (1) of section 4 and any declaration published under sub-section (2) of section 6 of the Principal Act before the commencement of this Act, shall be deemed to have been published in accordance with the provisions of this Act as if this Act was in force on the date of such publication.
