(1) This ordinance may be cited as the Native Courts ordinance, 1992 , and shall come into force on such date as the Yang di-Pertua Negeri may, by notification in the Gazette* , appoint.
(2) This ordinance shall not apply to any native professing the religion of Islam, except:
