Supreme Today News Desk

In a recent address at the 10th Biennial Madhya Pradesh State Judicial Officers Conference, Chief Justice Ravi Malimath emphasized the judiciary's trust in the intelligence of judges rather than Artificial Intelligence (AI). He stated that AI does not influence judicial decisions and that technologies like AI assist in expediting work, but judicial officers are expected to write judgments based on their knowledge and intelligence. Justice Malimath also highlighted the importance of addressing personal issues affecting judicial officers' performance and shared an incident where he upgraded an officer's ACR from grade C to A after resolving their family issues. He emphasized the proper use of AI tools to reduce manual work and ensure the smooth functioning of the judiciary.
