Lawyer Abducted and Beaten Up by Gang in Thiruvananthapuram
Thiruvananthapuram: A lawyer was abducted and brutally beaten up by a five-member gang in Kazhakoottam, Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday.
The victim, identified as Vinod, was allegedly abducted by the gang on the pretext of discussing a case. He was then taken to an isolated place and beaten up.
Vinod sustained serious injuries in the attack and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the legal community and has raised concerns about the safety of lawyers.
The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
