NLU Delhi and Mentblue Launch Batch 2 of Contract Drafting Certificate Course Starting October 10
(NLU Delhi), through its , has announced the second batch of its intensive Certificate Course on Contract & Commercial Drafting: Strategy and , in academic collaboration with . The course, part of the Practice Series, begins on , and runs through with live weekend sessions.
Bridging the Gap Between Classroom and Practice
The Practice Series is a joint initiative designed to close the gap between legal theory and professional practice. Across 24+ cohorts, it has trained over 2,400 participants, with alumni now placed at India’s leading law firms and corporates, including , , , , , , and .
The course is built for those who want to move from knowing contract law to drafting the contract. It covers over 30 critical drafts across 10+ legal domains, with live drafting walkthroughs, exercises, and drawn from real Indian commercial practice.
What the Course Offers
The 2+ month programme comprises 20 live online sessions, held Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM IST onwards. Participants will learn the full contract lifecycle — from to , review, , and — using frameworks and documents used in live mandates by partners and senior practitioners.

Practitioner-Led Faculty

Who Should Attend
The course is designed for law students in their senior years (LL.B and LL.M), junior associates and fresh graduates building transactional practice, in-house counsel managing vendor and commercial contracts, and CS/CA professionals advising on commercial structures.
Eligibility requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or current enrolment in a recognised undergraduate or postgraduate programme. A 75% minimum attendance across live sessions is mandatory for certification.
