Lok Sabha Elections 2024
Subject : Politics
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the BJP National Convention 2024 on Sunday, setting an ambitious target of '400 par' (400 plus seats) for the party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He urged party workers to reach out to every new voter and win their trust and support.
Modi took a dig at the Opposition, saying they are not even capable of mentioning the NDA's promise of a 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India). He held the Congress responsible for causing harm to national security and "breaking the morale of our security forces".
The Prime Minister also laid out the roadmap for the next five-six years, focusing on youth empowerment, hosting the Olympics in India, achieving net-zero targets, and reducing dependence on foreign imports. He expressed confidence that the BJP will return to power with a stronger mandate.
